Gala 2025
July 12th, 2025, the Samuel Harrison Society (SHS) held a 20th Anniversary Gala celebrating 20 years of the SHS and the documentary "A Trumpet at the Walls of Jericho; The Untold Story of Samuel Harrison".
Westside Legends Block Party
May 25th, 2024, the Samuel Harrison Society held a short program at the block party with the Massachusetts 54th Reenactors.
Cobbler Shop Open House
July 28th, 2023, the Samuel Harrison Society held an open house to the public to feature the completion of the Cobbler Shop addition.
Grand Opening
On June 19th, 2015, the Samuel Harrison Society held the official Grand Opening to the public of the Samuel Harrison House.
Interior Restoration
In 2011, with a donation from the Greylock Federal Credit Union, the interior restoration phase began.
Exterior Restoration
In 2004, the Samuel Harrison Society gained possession of the Samuel Harrison House. In 2006, the house was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places. In 2008, the groundbreaking began the exterior restoration phase.
Filming a Trumpet at the Walls of Jericho
In 2004, film maker and director Mike Kirk filmed portions of the documentary in Pittsfield, MA., Boston, MA, and Hudson, OH.
